Intermittent fasting has been around for centuries. It is akin to calorie deficit dieting with a boost to help succeed in healthy weight management

Intermittent fasting can aid in

improving your insulin, reducing your risk of certain diseases, decreasing your LDL which is bad cholesterol and triglycerides, having more mental clarity, improving brain fog, lowering the risk of cardiometabolic diseases, reducing your inflammation levels, and helping you achieve a healthy weight zone.

We’ve been through eras of events

that are read about as history in school. As with every year,

we age, our metabolism slows,

We are not moving as much, exercising, and doing as much. 

Unlike the few generations before us,

they never had to deal with a pandemic, as we have all gone through.

 So now as a Senior or a Boomer, we are at the point where we need to move and get our mojo back.  Every month you’ll be getting tips and go-to easy solutions that’ll help you with your new renewed journey. We will gently suggest some low-impact exercises such as Walking, Chair Yoga, or a Recumbent bicycle ( I love mine). Throw on some tunes from the 70s or 80s and watch 10 minutes go by. I will tell you that as a sedentary person who never played sports, I love my Recumbent bike. It's super easy and if you can, a good tip is to put it in the backyard so you can get fresh air while you are cycling away. 

Let us introduce you to yoga after 60. Gentle yoga will start you on an incredible path with literally no impact. There’s also the world of mindful meditation which you can do for 10 minutes a day for month one. Of course, you will need to talk to a medical professional to get the OK. Since we are all in different situations,  which may or may not be conducive for certain exercising.
